Getting There (1)

The Big Idea

“Come to Me”

Matthew 11:28

The essence of spiritual arrival is relationship. God’s invitation is not primarily to improve ourselves, follow rules, or accomplish great things—it’s simply to come. To draw near. To position ourselves in His presence where transformation happens naturally through contact with Him.

The Simple Takeaway

Person A

Stays at a distance from God, believing they need to fix themselves first. They create conditions and prerequisites before approaching Him, all based on their own self-judgment.

Person B

Comes to Jesus as they are, without cleaning themselves up first. They discover that His presence itself is transformative, and rest becomes possible not through their effort but through His acceptance.

Chambers calls us to the simplicity of coming—just as we are.

What condition do you think you need to meet before you’re worthy to come to Jesus, and is that actually required?
