The Big Idea
“Seek, and you will find”
Luke 11:9
After we ask, we must seek. Spiritual seeking is an active pursuit of God’s presence and will. It’s not passive waiting but determined effort to draw near to Him, to understand His purposes, to align ourselves with His kingdom. This seeking is rewarded with discovery and transformation.
The Simple Takeaway
Makes a prayer request and then moves on, waiting for God to do something obvious. When nothing dramatic happens, they conclude God didn’t answer and become cynical.
Asks God for guidance and then actively seeks it—through Scripture, prayer, wise counsel, and careful attention to how God is moving. This intentional seeking opens their eyes to answers they might otherwise have missed.
Chambers invites us into active pursuit of God’s kingdom, not passive hoping.
