What’s Next To Do?

The Big Idea

“If you know these things, blessed are you if you do them”

John 13:17

Knowledge without obedience creates spiritual stagnation. The moment we understand what God is calling us to do, the window for blessing opens—but only if we act. Growth comes not from accumulating more information but from immediately implementing what we already know to be true.

The Simple Takeaway

Person A

Loves learning spiritual truths, attending Bible studies, reading devotionals. But they rarely translate knowledge into action. They accumulate understanding while remaining largely unchanged.

Person B

Acts on what they know immediately. When God shows them something, they obey it that day. This responsiveness to the smallest nudges of the Spirit keeps them in a constant state of spiritual growth and blessing.

Chambers warns that spiritual knowledge is only a doorway—blessings come through the door of obedience.
